Enjoy Carley and Katherine Riddle's duet: 'The Secret of Happiness'
On February 13, Katherine Riddle (soprano), T.C. Kincer (pianist) and I presented Catching Joy, a live program of music theatre that mixes nostalgia for the past, dreaming of the future, but most of all, finding positivity in the present.
In addition to our live solo performances, we prerecorded a few remote-duets. Katherine and I have been singing together for over 10 years (!) but never in this genre or medium; distanced and prerecorded in our home studios
We loved preparing ‘The Secret of Happiness’ from Daddy Long Legs. While this is originally written for one singer, bwe wanted to put our own twist on this gorgeous and uplifting tune. We hope you enjoy and can’t wait for our next performance together <3
