Carley loves to share her experience and passion with her students! From offering private voice and piano lessons, leading choral ensembles to coaching musical theatre and contemporary styles, Carley balances an exciting career as a singer and teacher.

As a former Choral Artist with the Metropolitan Opera Guild, Carley designed and adapted a unique choral curriculum to complement classroom learning objectives for elementary-aged students. As the former director of the Sistema Side by Side Chorus at the Longy School of Music, Carley created a choral program for students aged 7-12 founded in community while mentoring graduate-level teaching fellows. Carley helped revive the choral program at Youth and Family Enrichment Services (YoFES) in Hyde Park and was able to pass it on to a new generation of teachers and young singers. For five years, Carley gave private voice and piano instruction at LB Music School in Wakefield, a productive training ground for her interest in teaching contemporary styles.

Carley is the Director of After School Music at Dexter Southfield and a Voice Instructor in Harvard University’s Holden Voice Program. She offers private lessons (in-person or online) from her home in Somerville.
